今日の風予報は弱弱。
午後から南が入ればラッキーな感じで海へ。
到着すると風は2ｍ、波は昨日に比べると全然小さかったのでまるちゃんは楽勝モードでスタンドアップパドルサーフィン入水。
しかし、やっぱり立ちはだかる壁を越えられず苦戦。
それでも昨日の特訓の成果か、立ったままのスープ越えがいい感じになって来ていた。
まるちゃん、もう少しだ、頑張ろうね！
しばらくすると少しだけ風が吹いてきた。
待機していたばりちゃんとＳＵＰからカイトに切り替えたまるちゃんが直ぐに出艇。
吹いて来たと言っても細かな砂も飛ばないくらいの弱い風。
まだまだSUPコンディションだったが、この微風でどれだけ走れるのかを試したいニューカイトがあったのでセッティングすることにした。
グライド（微風用デカボード）じゃなきゃ無理だなと思いながらセッティング。

とりあえず、セルフで簡単に上がった。
で、上がった瞬間思ったよりパワーが入ったのでビックリ。
軽く振ってみるとかなり飛びあがる。

女の子たちでさえアンダーで下っているなか、小さいボードでパツパツ。
軽くシーティングを引いた状態でもご覧の通り。
動きは昨年のものよりも早く、何といってもパワーが違う。
そんなに変わってないだろうと思っていたがここまで進化していたとは、かなり衝撃を受けた。
デパワーもバーを一気に前に出してもスカッと急激に抜けることなくパワーダウン。
スピード出してもカイトがいい位置でキープしてくれてるのでトルクオーバーにならずに走り続けられる。
弱い風の中走るカイトはいくつかあるが、総合的にここ数年の微風用カイトの中で、もっとも衝撃的なカイトでした。
それからまるちゃんに貸すと帰ってこなかった。
ばりちゃんは何度も何度もトライアングルを重ねながらレイリーの練習。
シャワーを浴びてビーチに行こうとしたらようやくまるちゃんが帰って来た。
今日数十回やったバックロールが、1回だけメイクしたとの事。やったね、おめでとう！
今年の僕のカイトはSLINGSHOT FUELと最大サイズだけRPMです。
